Salam Bro-bro sekalian,
Bro bro yg pakai CBR954rr boleh tak bagitau tentang suhu enjin paling tinggi motor korang penah cecah masa town riding.... bro2 lain pun bleh bagitau jugak for reference :)

Saya punya 954 penah cecah sampai 118 degree C masa town riding. Memang masak telor wooo.... Fan bukak around 100 dgree C, tapi temp naik jugak.... dah lah kat Bangkok ni jam tahap Gaban di ruang angkasa setan...

bila dah jalan laju sket baru lah temp turun & fan tutup balik around below 100 degree C....

Highway cruising 81 - 85 degree C aje....

Khawp Khun Krub....

Wassalam...

HI Bro,
I have been using a 954 for the past 6 months and memang riding temp is around 80 - 85 and my bike tak pernah naik lebih dari 101 or 102 lepas the fan kicks in. Tapi jam saya cuma kat KL, 101 already i can feel my legs very very hot. 118 memang boleh fry telur. i am sure.

Check ur fan and water level. should not go so high i think !!!!

Coolant level checked. Radiator serviced during recent oil change. I tested the bike standing still at home. Fan kicked in @ 100 & the temp slowly rise to 101/102 then came back down to 98 in about a minute when the fan turned back off. Then it goes through that cycle again....

BUT during riding in traffic, fan kicked in @ 100, temp keep rising. When my bike was running at > 110 degree C for a while & the fan was running for a long time, & it turned off itself for a while before turn back on (& the temp still keep rising slowly).

May be the traffic was too bad & I was stuck not moving for 5 - 10 mins sometimes (for several times) & not enough cool air out there??? ....

was thinking to install additional cooling fan already! :grrr:

Thanks Bro...

Last year saya ada pakai 954, skrg ni dah jual dah. Takde pulak masalah over heat. Menurut kata mekanik saya, air filter pun memainkan peranan dalam masalah over heat. cuba lah tukar yg perfomance punya, bila air circulation improve, masalah over heat selalu nya hilang. Just my nickle opinion.

Thanks Bro TheJaCKaL,
I'll put the performance filter into my troubleshooting list.

Thanks bro Nizam,
Nanti saya cek radiator cap. Bende alah ni sama ke dgn keter punya?

p/s: skrg tgh eksperimen pasang 2nd fan. Tadi test wiring both fan jalan serentak.... hehe... kasi hangin sama dia... Belum test ride lagi. Next stage - nak install suis for 2nd fan, kalau jln tak jam teruk bleh tutup jer 2nd fan.
